The new Nathan Bignell.co.uk website was set up in very early stages of 2009 - moving on from my previous website buzzstorm.co.uk to provide a more updated view on myself and what I do.

Starting photography based around the railways in the first quarter of 2007, my photography quickly progressed from there with me buying my first 'trial' camera in 2008 [A Fuji Finepix S6500fd]. I got published a few times and had work experience with the professionals in the trade. Then in mid 2008 I won my first ever major competition where I won my first D-SLR, A Nikon D200 along with lots of other equipment. Now using state of the art software and equipment I am able to take and sometimes edit photos to a professional standard.

This website is aimed to provide people with information about myself and keep them updated.

I am still learning new things about photography whether it be by physical experiences or by reading books and viewing videos. I am keeping my options open regarding my future career. But despite all of this, photography will definitely be kept as a professional hobby, a subject often overlooked by many.
